(like having adequate healthy fat/plenty of protein) But then again, it takes times and I've never really had a sweet tooth. (Lucky me!)

Stay strong! That is awesome that he complimented your desire, strength, willpower & determination.
The weight loss compliments always feel like a double edged sword to me... Weight and weight loss are both personal things & a very touchy subject for us girls. You would think that other girls would just know this and not be bitches about it... but no.
xoSBBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00336807377732042637noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-468743774600775831.post-79309229465698886232009-09-18T02:43:51.188-07:002009-09-18T02:43:51.188-07:00haha your brother sounds awesome! keep up the good...haha your brother sounds awesome! keep up the good work!
EMPTINESS IS STRENGTH
xoxo
-StrengthStrengthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08973772950073027958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-468743774600775831.post-50396616539171353522009-09-18T02:08:11.319-07:002009-09-18T02:08:11.319-07:00That picture is one of my favorites, first off.
...That picture is one of my favorites, first off.

I don't know why, but it always seems like guys are a little bit more chill and supportive. I've never gotten "OMG YOU'RE SO THIN, ARE YOU EATING?!" comments from a man, usually they don't say anything, or if they do it's "Wow, you look great" or they try and hit on me.

Women seem to be naturally very territorial. It's such a generalization and a stereotype, but it is so because it's true. I'll say it to my friends because sometimes I'm thinking "Don't lose weight, you might look better than me" or "No, I like thinking of you as my chubby pal" ... and sometimes it's just a back handed compliment. For us, on the receiving end, it's frustrating because people would never say "Put down that second serving of cake and eat an apple!" to someone's face, but no one has a hard time going "Dear lord, eat a sandwich!!" to a thin person.

It's hypocritical and makes people feel good. You're brother sounds amazing. I'm glad he's in your life :)Savory Sweethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01854692427283938498noreply@blogger.com
